Just for the record, that hood will work on the 98 series too. Allowing for fender trim holes & differences, the 88’s / Starfires and 98’s all used the same front fenders too in 1966. The swap-ability is nice since no one will ever reproduce these things.
Be warned that 1966 sheet metal is unique to that year. 1965 is more square and 1967 was different as well. Those were the years when shapes changed slightly to create excitement about the new model year. So nothing in sheet metal swaps.
But a whole lot of internals from the years 1965 to 1970 will work well on a 1966 big car.
