how do you know if a 1964 442 is the real deal.can anybody tell me some things to look for to verify that its the real deal?thanks

 

Bought mine new.... but Some Olds experts have told me that the Trailing arms on the rear end have a plate welded over the "U" area on the arms. But Im sure their are some folks can tell you more on the subject.

In 1964 only 2999 442s were made. They all had the 310 hp 330 engine backed by a manual trans. Yes they are rare & desirable.
