1964 Olds Cutlass holiday coupe resto
Hey guys I need to ask a question it might require the answer link to a picture that's OK!
Does anybody know or has seen the deluxe seat belt that Olds put in 1964 I ask because my Mom's Cutlass Holiday Coupe was top of the line model & yet there was a DELUXE SEAT BELT option I was hoping it had olds insignia or something over a metal buckle but with all the research I don't think so any of you know?

They're fairly common so it's not Rolls Royce stuff here. Deluxe seat belts had brushed aluminum covers and chromed backs on the buckles, as opposed to interior colored plastic on the non-deluxe. Those years had the Fisher body carriage, later years said GM. They were used across divisions, none had Olds Rocket logo.

If I remember correctly the buckle insignia was different on the 64 cutlass vs other gm buckles it did not have the large carriage logo most of us recognize it was smaller and more rectangle. It had the older Oldsmobile design. I’m nearly 60 Old and going off memory so certainly could be wrong.
