never mind the rust holes..what were the round holes on the dash for?

 

Was the Autronic Eye option available??
That looks like just the right spot for one and they had two mounting studs and a wire IIRC. I sold an NOS unit a few years back on evilbay and it had the dash unit with the sensor and a control unit. There's not a big black steel box with wires coming out of it hanging around in the engine compartment anywhere is there?

 

i found out that is what it was...although it might of got added on later..still i think its fun..just another part of the history
