Sooo, July 4-7. Hope you get some of the Canucks to come down to that! I looked at the 2010 photo links. IMPRESSIVE!! Some very cool cars there. Even if someone wasn't an Olds owner its worth going to with just a camera IMO.

Last year's event was a great time and this year promises to be better. I will be there with my '88 Toronado Trofeo again!

Don't forget the NEOC show is just a few weeks away! All Oldsmobiles/Olds enthusiasts are welcome to attend! We are expecting over 100 cars this year. Last year cars ranged from a Curved Dash to a 2002 Aurora and everything in between! We will have food, club merchandise, and awards all to benefit the Shriner's Children's Hospital.

The weather looks good Unless the forecast changes to "rain all day" on Sunday, we're on! Expecting a record turn-out this year. More parking for show cars, spectators and trailers certainly helps. If you're staying at the Days Inn the night before, there's a great Chicago tribute band playing next door at the Hawthorne Inn. Check them out. And if you're bringing a trailer please be aware that trailers will park behind the Hawthorne Inn immediately before the entrance to the Days Inn. SEE YOU THERE

Here I was all set to go, the schedule was clean and clear, car was cleaned and all set and I had a route mapped out to not have to drive through New York City. Wednesday night we got notice my daughter's soccer team is having an unscheduled practice at 9am. Unfortunately we have nobody close to us from the team and my better half has her own thing she needs to take care of. Soo chaulk up another missed opportunity to meet some of you guys, put the 'ole girl on display and have a nice day out w/ her, the trip was to be 3.5hrs each way and the weather forecast is outstanding.

Hope the show is a success and everyone gets there and home safely.

Good luck w/ the show

mike

Probably not really fair of me to say (not knowing your situation, of course) but I say take your daughter to the car show with you - she won't remember that soccer practice in a year but a day with her dad might be a memory she will cherish for a lifetime.

No she won't miss this one practice in yrs to come, but practice is mandatory at the level she competes in. This is her club team, not high school team and they are prepping for an upcoming tournament. This is their time of the year they are "off" from club obligations for high school soccer but they finished the season in July on a high note so knowing the coach he wants the girls together to get them back in sync.

when she heard there was practice she was actually happy to hear about it. if she's happy that pretty much sums up my life, I'll just drive her to practice in the 98.

Hey guys, here are my pics from this year's show. Yes, there a lot of pics of '76 Ninety Eights but this was the first time we ever got 4 of our cars to one show so can you blame me? We had a caravan of all 4 heading to and from the show...it was AWESOME!

It was such a perfect day for a show. Enjoy the pics

Very nice slide show John! At the start I thought it might be a Mafia convention...Very cool to see all those big Oldsmobiles together.

Ha, thanks Allan. Not everyday there are 4 '76 Ninety Eight Regency Coupes parked side by side is it? Especially 2 black ones.
