10,000th Post...

First member to hit 10,000 posts. I guess I need to get a life - or at least to spend more time in the garage. It took me five and a half years, but Lady72nRob71 and Allen R are both nipping at my heels and both have been members for only four and a half years. Carry on, guys.

Congrats Joe! Well, everybody needs a hobby or two! From the knowledge you've shared I'd say you've been in this one longer than most of us

Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. Its only fair to mark the occasion for what you've done and you deserve it.

Some of us know this isn't the only forum you participate in and that takes dedication on your part.

There are many like you. If you didn't like it, you wouldn't do it and I call that passion. Carry on.

I guess we all know what that means - You've got to stop posting!

Add my voice to the others'. Thanks for the help, and for the clarity with which you are able to present it.

Hello Joe,
I believe you detailed knowledge of all things Oldsmobile is greatly appreciated by the users of this site. Any time I see a post that you answered, I'm pretty sure it's gospel and it sure is nice to have someone around to try and keep people like me going down the right track!

Okay, I'm taking bets on how long it takes him to reach 20,000.

Anyone want to stick his neck out and guess at 30,000?

I suspect a big drop-off at a certain point, because at that point, all of our Olds will be fixed.

I don't think he'll ever hit 20,000. By the time he's got 15,000 he'll have so many of us trained that he won't even get a chance to post

Hey Joe, Some numbers mean something and some don't---take my age for example.
Your number of posts is remarkable and shows your attitude and discipline towards helping us. Your vast knowledge on these old cars is also a testament to the time and effort it took to learn it. Thanks for all the tips, remedies, and general encouragement.
I always look for your name and read your comments.
