has anyone used these? they are about 45.00 each, pretty thin for composite
wondering how they held up?, used sealer on them?

 

I've purchased a couple of sets from John. They work just fine without sealant on my iron heads.

I don't know how they would be on aluminum heads, no experience with that combo.

Get them while you can. From What John told me, Corteco doesn't really have them as a top priority on their manufacturing list, so he has to order a certain number of them up front for them to even be produced.

. I imagine he probably had to buy more than $1000 worth of them to even get them to make them again. I can't speak for him however.
