In need of heating and cooling help!!!

Just got a 1969 Olds Cutlass with a 1971 455ci, the guy before me ripped the A/C and heater right out and screwed me with a ton of electrical work and basically clean up. I wanted to know what I will need to install a heating, and defroster system? I understand a few basic items such as hoses and heater core but what will I need all together. I am getting it inspected tomorrow (It will pass shhhhh) but I want to jump on that before cold weather comes. Thanks fellas.

So is it safe to assume you have nothing? you might get a hold of one of the guys with extra parts cars and see what they could do for you.

You can use AC type parts to put a heater in, or alter the firewall to use no-AC type parts. I think a conversion panel to no-AC is commonly available thru e.g. ePay.

You do not need the AC parts like the evaporator in place just to get heat, but the heater core needs the ducting and housing to support it, select heat, etc.

what-all is missing?

Just to throw it out there, maybe a vintage\classic auto air kit might be an option as well.
