I am new to this site and have been seeing some really good posts. I am currently working on my 84 Oldsmobile cutlass Calais and need help with the wiring. All of the computer stuff is gone and just had a question in regards to a wire going from the main harness to the heater. It is a red wire that is spliced and goes to the starter. This red wire goes to a connection that also hooks up to the heater/ ac. The AC is no longer there and I only want to keep the heater. Could i simply splice the two wires together where i circled in yellow? do they power the blower? somebody please help me lol
