ok. maybe someone can answer my question..I have a 71 Cutlass S..It had A/C.. I deleted it with a delete plate..Now my question is I know I have to install a blower motor resistor in the delete plate..Do I have to have a resistor from a non A/C car or use one from the A/C car.. or is there any difference in the two?? Also I have another question..I have installed a new water control valve on the car..Do I have to keep it there or can I remove it there and just put a nipple there for the heater hose to connect to... Any input is appreciated...

Use the one from the A/C car, so no rewiring is needed. They are different. Also, you already have it - cheap!
I would leave the heater valve there, unless it fouls the look of the engine. Just less work to leave it as is...

Remember, you can use the heat valve to control the heat, even if you don't have the A/C switches hooked up - just connect it to (or disconnect it from) manifold vacuum (different years and models differ as to which turns the valve on or off).
You can keep the hot water out of your dash in the hot weather but easily switch to having heat in the cooler weather.

Snooky - keep on mind that all the advice I gave was in assumption that the factory A/C controls were still in the car and functional. I should have asked earlier...

yes..Rob.. all the controls are still in the car and are still functional...only thing that was changed was the evaporator box was removed and replaced with a delete plate...
