Quartz Tic-Toc-Tach DIY

Does anybody have experience with the DIY quartz clock innards they sell on Ebay?

I've got a 72 Tic-Toc-Tach with no tic or toc and a limited budget.

Easy or hard? Any pics?

Thanks in advance.

I installed a quartz conversion kit from an outfit called the Clock Doc about 20 years ago. It was easy and after 120,000 miles continues to keep perfect time .

I used the same thing on my car. Still works fine.

I have always used Instrument Services and the clocks keep perfect time. Conversion is pretty easy. I also had them go through a Rally Guage cluster on a Pontiac to calibrate it and it too works great. http://clocksandgauges.com/
