Turn bulb and Dome light Problem

I have restored a 72 Cutlass and have just about all the electrics working. Just 2 problems
1. The front right trun signal bulb will not stay engaged. I have used the grease packets they have for bulbs but still shakes loose and loses connection. Any tricks short of replacing outlet???

2. Dome Light fixture replacement. I have ordered replacement Dome Light lens and Dome Lens housing from Fusick, surprised that it did not inlcude the electrical connection to hold the bulb... Do I have to buy the whole wiring harnes to get the connection and then brad it into the housing or does someone sell the compete unit???? I checked Year.one and they offer the same housing.
Thanks,
Richey

1. Check the solder terminals on the base of the bulb. Sometimes they wear down, causing the bulb to be loose. Failing that, it's probably time for a new socket.

2. The terminals snap out of the old housing from the back and snap into the new housing. They are part of the harness.

It just snaps in place. Pry gently with a small flat blade screwdriver.

i tried again before reading this post and it came right out this time, the lens is starting to look brittle though. It was driving me crazy, those are the things you don't want to break cause they cost like 20-30 bucks for nothin. Thanks

Unfortunately, the plastic does get brittle with age.
