Good afternoon,
I'm hoping someone here can steer me in the right direction...
I am looking for a complete power trunk release system for my car. I have found plenty of aftermarket options or some bits and pieces of OEM. In my area, I still have access to bone yards that have 80's G body cars. Would I be able to use one out of them?

Pretty sure GM went to a bolt on solenoid that fits many different model years and body styles. No need to change the latch like the earlier years. If that’s true, that opens up a huge selection of donor vehicles.
