New Alt, Batt, Belts, Cables, And My 86 Cutty Still Aint Carging!!!

 

I forgot the most important part!!!!!!! My belts wont stop sqeaking!!!!

 

sOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A DRAW SOME WERE. WHAT i DO TO FIGURE WERE the draw is, is, undo the positive terminal on your battery. Conect a test light to the cable and poke the terminal with the probe. If the light is on, you have a draw. Now, have a buddy start pulling fuses one by one until the light goes out. That will tell you were to look for your draw. I hope this helps.

 

Almost forgot. The doors must remain shut. That way the dome light isn't being read.

 

100% certain the alt is good? did the parts store check it before they handed to you? it's not unheard of for a new unit to be defective
