Cigar Lighter Wiring

I have a lighter in my 69 Cutlass Vert but there is no wiring going to it. The back of the lighter has a threaded extension that I think would have a push on connection. is that the case and where might I find one?

Someone may have decided to use that wire for something else. Low hanging fruit for inexperienced previous owners.

And if they did, I guarantee they used a Scotchlok connector on it.

I think a female bullet connector would work. The local auto parts store or hardware store should have them.

Nope, my money is on those cheap crimp butt connectors that are included on every new electrical gadget.

My money is on twisted wires and electrical tape.

The correct connector is a molded straight female fitting. For some reason you can only buy right angle pigtails. These work fine.
