I'm currently working on the engine bay side of the wiring harness, and while referencing the Service Manual I noticed I do not have a Voltage Regulator. I tried tracing the wires to where the book shows the VR should be, and the only wires I show look to be signal wires for the engine/gauges.
Not sure, everything was apart when I bought the car. I didn't think to, but I can grab the numbers off of the alternator (generator? Another FSM led question)

Look in electrical section of your CSM for details.
Interesting, that would explain the lack of evidence on the firewall. I'll have to go back through the section..I must have missed it.
Clean them up a bit so we can make sure of the colors, but GREEN is for the temp gage/light sender and BLUE is oil pressure sender.
Will do. They're green and blue, but I do plan on doing some decent detail work in there before the engine goes in. Might as well since it'll be going to shows.
I'm not sure why I didn't think of those being the sender wires..I figured the ones coming out of the firewall with the vacuum hoses were, honestly. Kinda forgot the location of the sensors.
I'll get the book back out tonight..because now I'm curious what these are..
I'm thinking the one that looks torn up may be for the tach?
I can't tell from your photo where the torn-up wire traverses. The yellow and black wires zip-tied to the bundled wire, should be for your coil. Tach wire would follow to the coil, as well.

It runs right along the black and yellow wires. I figured those were coil, but hadn't gotten that far yet with the harness.
