Taillight bulb socket to rear harness...Help!

Hey guys,

We are starting to put the car back together and have ran into a snap with the taillight bulb socket (socket and wiring) that would connect to the rear lighting harness. Does anyone know where I could get one?

So far I have tried Fusick, OPG, M and H and Letric Limited...

Any help is appreciated or if you know someone who has a NOS set.

Ben

The taillight sockets on the 1971/72 cars are swaged into the taillight housing and not easily replaced, which is why no one sells them. You can get generic metal sockets and retrofit them, but it takes some work.

I'm also curious. They make repair kits for this type of socket, I had to rebuild the front housings on my turn signals, the contacts and wires were missing. The kits have brass contacts, springs and wire pigtails.
