Wires needing home in my 68 442

I've got a few wires that probably should go somewhere - I'll post the pics and see what you guys come up with.
The first picture will has a dark green and light green wire coming out of the firewall on the drivers side. Thanks

The first wire i am not so sure about, the second one TO ME looks like it could possibly go to your NSS if there purple, and the third looks like it could be for your stoplight switch if its white. But then again im just looking at the connectors. Since i cant tell for sure what color the wires are (pretty much color blind) haha someone els will know 100%

Not too familiar with the '68, but here goes...

First one looks to be for a not-so-common option, the giveaway is the three hole option grommet. Any evidence that cruise control was installed?
Second looks to be for TH400 kickdown switch, if wires are pink and orange.
Third looks to be for mirror maplight - I think....

Is your car a standard trans? The first looks like the backup light harness

Photo 1 is for backup lighting. There is no other handy mating connector you can use either.

Therefore, you have a MT car, eh?

The switch should be on the trans linkage, hooked to the reverse lever [aftmost] via a 1/8" diameter rod.

Idiot sellers notwithstanding, this is what your trans bkp lite switch DOES NOT look like:

Here's one, DIRT CHEAP too:

One of your comrades here may have a less spendy and/or used one for you. That's what friends are for. Or, you could certainly adapt say a motorcycle brakes light switch to the purpose. Points off at showtome, but R lites would work.
