Wire Harnesses for 69 442

I'm in the market for a complete set of wire harnesses for my 69 442 Options include. AT, Rally Pac, A/C, AM-FM Stereo, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Does Not Have Idle Stop Solenoid.

I want every wire in this car replaced. I go to Oldsmobile web sites and look at wire harnesses and some have pictures and some don't. Most are within a few dollars of each other. I'm looking for direct replacements.

Who do you recommend, sells the best quality factory wire harness kits on the market for concourse restoration? I know opinions will vary. Thanks

I have had great success with M&H harnesses. I have the forward light harness and engine harness. I had them set it up for internally regulated alternator and HEI distributor. Besides those changes everything else is exactly the same as OEM including wire color, length, gauge and connectors.

I have heard American Autowire is also very good but I have only used them for battery cables, which were also very close to OEM.

Wiring

I have good luck with American Autowire on my 1969 convertible (about three or four different harnesses). Plug and play. Just make sure you get exactly what you need, as some of the harnesses have variations depending on the vehicle configuration and options.

I ordered my engine bay and front light harness from Lectric Limited (lectriclimited.com). Should have them in a few days, but can't speak to accuracy. I went with them based on several positive reviews here and elsewhere.

Most option like A/C, cruise, power windows/locks etc plug into the factory harness.

American Autowire is probably the best in my opinion. They offer under dash and under hood harness either stock replacement, or with upgrades like HEI or internally regulated alternators, and the harnesses for optional equipment.

I did every harness in my 69 with Lectric Limited. Everything worked perfect.
