wipers very slow on this car. figure since I am changing so much stuff to new, might as well hit this as well. will check to see what the grease for the wiper trans looks like and address. anyone have a recommendation on a good motor that works well and has nice action to it? or all they all pretty much the same. thanx.

 

All of the motors I've ever seen are the same.

Also, the action of the wipers when they're working properly seems slow compared with modern cars.

If you need a new motor, I'd check the junkyard first - they don't wear out much.

Thanx!!! you may be right....just seems really slow on slow and kind of slow on fast.

 

now they are working intermittently. work for a bit, then quit and then work for a bit. guess the motor is on it's way out.

 

Have you confirmed the ground of the wiper motor?
