Wiper motor interchangability

Good day all,

I have a 2 speed round body wiper motor on my '66 Toronado that's giving me grief and I'd like to either replace it or scavenge parts out of another to repair mine. Just wondering how much these things change between models over the years? I've looked at mid 60's to 70's wiper motors from Cutlass's, Impalas, Chevelles, etc, and they all look the same visually. Anyone ever mess around with these?

Thanks!

If anyone is looking for this info, a 1965 Impala wiper motor is a dead ringer for the original '66 Toronado wiper motor and probably more available. The washer pumps interchange beautifully as well, which is what was screwing up getting a replacement motor to fit mine.
