Wiper motor

Hi there! Greetings from the Netherlands....
I own and try to repair and improve my precious 1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. Many things have been repaired already, but now it needs either a new wiper motor (Delco 4195858) or I have to manage to repair it. So far I can't find anything similar but from Classic Industries A40162 - but then they don't really answer my question if it is similar and or if it has the self-park property.... Otherwise the motors look pretty identical.
I hope to find more information here on how to find parts or repair advise here. Very much appreciated.

This is the old one

The original motor on your car was GM P/N 4915948, which appears to be 1965-66 F85 with round motor. Also used on 1965-66 Chevelle and 1965-66 Chevy full size with two speed motor.

Despite what people may say on line, that's the casting number for that part of the wiper motor. It's not the part number for the assembled motor.

I'll add that 4915948 is the part number for the replacement motor without the washer pump (which was available separately). The part number for the motor WITH the washer pump as installed on the assembly line was 5044630. The actual part number for the motor assembly is on a sticker on the round part of the motor. Don't be surprised if that sticker has long since disappeared. This photo is just an example of the sticker location.

There is a rebuilt one on eBay for $40 plus shipping. eBay item number:135089842846

Even with shipping, I doubt that you will find a better deal anywhere! Seize the opportunity before someone else does.
