Where or what do these go to?

This one I'll call A looks like it should mate up with a slot on the steering column bracket ( turn singnal housing?). I say that cause it looks like it would or should connect up however on mine there are no downstream wires so if connected to this "empty slot" it would be going nowhere.....pink is hot with ign on

First one I believe is for cars that came with the TH400 transmission. This would plug into the kick down switch mounted on the gas pedal. If your car didn't have a TH400, it was taped up out of the way.
Your car must be a '72? That 2nd connector is for the seat belt warning buzzer mounted between the radio & glove box. Most people unplugged it.

#1: I agree, TH400 kickdown switch. However, this does not mean that your car had a TH400 - this plug was in all cars.

#2: Seat belt warning buzzer. Green goes to the same hot as the signal lights and backup lights. Black goes to an extra set of terminals on the NSS, and to the Fasten Seat Belts light. If the car is put in gear, the black wire is connected to the seat and seatbelt switches, which will ground out if the belt is not pulled out, causing the buzzer to buzz and the light to come on. These are disabled in almost every car that came with them, because they were stupid, and everybody hated them, plus, nobody was going to put on their seatbelts anyway.
