What wire for fuel gauge?

Hey guys, I just took out my fuel gauge/dummy lights unit from my 76 cutlass. I'm replacing it with some cheapo supertach i got at my work but i need to rewire the fuel gauge to a new one. Just wondering if anyone knows what the color wires I need to use are. I took a look at the circuit board on the back and I think I need to use the brown wire and the brown and white wire (pretty sure its the brown, just guessing on the brown and white). Anyone that knows chime in please. Until then I will just have to guess when I'm low haha. Thanks in advance.

Forgot the guy gave me a manual with the car when I bought it and found a wiring diagram in the back. Says its the "Tan" and "Tan/Double White" wire. Just writing this for reference if anyone need the same answer.
