Used remanufactured Olds distributor.

I don't really know, but most of us probably have small piles of Olds distributors lying around somewhere, and I'd probably sell one for about $20 if I thought the buyer needed it.

Why not keep it in case you need it later, such as if your electronic ignition fails?

Its a remanufactured that looks like it was purchased not to long ago. If you purchasd one from a parts supplier they range fro around $50-100 US.

EVERYTHING depends on the number. As an Olds rebuilt dist, it's not worth much...as said...maybe 50.00. IF it's a rare number...it could be worth a LOT of $$$. It's probably not...but list the # on the dist here, I'll tell you what it fits. Number looks like 1112... It's where your thumb is in the 3rd pic. List the number + numbers after it 1C26 or whatever.

Rebuilt generic 1112xxx is what I see
worth something.

When I was re-doing a UHV and found a very worn shaft I was very happy to find among the pile of old used ones a donor with the same # / shape cam brazed atop, and a good unworn shaft. I was shooting for an exact right match.

Funny thing, in the pile of oh 20-30 distributors, it was the LAST ONE I looked at that had the right shaft, too!

Hopefully you stopped looking when you found the good one!

Actually, nothing, as this is a remanufactured distributor, which may, or may not, contain any of its original parts (aside from the case with the number on it).

We could tell you what that distributor USED to be, but that's about all.

Yes. It can work on about anything. That number was when the distributor manufacturer was making them told how much the weights weighed and how much spring resistance was to be used for a final product.
As you seen those other numbers were the date it was made.

You are mistakenly using the present tense here.

You are correctly using the past tense here.

I will repeat, so that OldsRagger makes no mistake, this is a remanufactured distributor.

The numbers stamped into the base are meaningless, except as a matter of curiosity.

Without the rebuilder's specifications, or a distributor machine, you have no idea what parts are on it, or what sort of settings they will deliver.
