Have you checked out Vintage Air's website?

https://www.vintageair.com/installationinstructions/

I've only ever heard good things about Vintage Air. Heck, even Jay Leno recommends their products.

What car? Engine? Factory air car, or heater only? You can view installation instructions for your car on Vintage Air site. It’s time consuming to install the system, but not terribly difficult in my opinion. I did my 69 over a weekend.

I would like to install a Vintage Air system in my 71 98 eventually. IMHO, an orifice tube system looks better than all the tubes/piping of a suction throttling valve system. Plus, the new systems are r134a compatible. Actually, I wonder if Vintage Air will be going to r1234yf soon?

Only drawback I’ve seen is that different faceplate for the controls - but I thought I read that you can send your original in to have them use? I’ll have to research that - and r1234yf? First I’ve heard - to the Internet! *bat man sound bite*
