Trying to identify a wire
Have a 1974 cutlass 442, got engine put in but can't identify a wire. Which is pink looking one I have upwards in picture. Hoping someone can help me out

It goes to the carburetor throttle stop solenoid, which is missing on your car. It has 12 volts on it with ignition switch and is fed thru the gauges/trans fuse.
That circuit feeds a pile of stuff so you can't just pull the fuse to kill power to it. If you're not going to reinstall the throttle stop solenoid you'll need to find some means to insulate it. Double it back on itself and tape it will work fine.
You need a copy of the 74 Olds Chassis Service Manual too, because I can promise this isn't going to be the only electrical question you'll have. It has color wiring diagrams among other things to help you service your car properly.
Seeing your underhood wiring makes me evermore grateful my Hurst/Olds was never messed with.
