Tip's and tricks for 66 Toronado cruise control?

Tip's and tricks for 66 Toronado cruise control?

I've been rooting thru the forums looking for wire schematic to no avail,, any one know this system or have schematic or info?

The 1966 Toro cruise control is wired the same as the cruise unit in the RWD cars that year. The diagram is on page 15-33 (fig 15-38) in the 1966 Chassis Service Manual. The Toro-unique cruise installation and adjustment info is on page 15E-4 in the Toro supplement at the back of that book.

I don't have that book,, I've got this book,,But nothing on cruise control

The first thing you should get is a real paper copy of an original Chassis Service Manual. There are currently six on ebay, with starting prices at $20.

Next warning, I have not hooked mine back up yet since, as an automatic speed control, if I got it wrong, it could pin the throttle. One of these days I'll hook it up, just havent yet.
