I have a1972 Cutlass Supreme, heater fan guit blowing, replaced the fan switch and compensator, worked great till it didn’t lol
just in a few seconds it blew the compensator again,
any suggestions?

Driller, that's a a good-looking Cutlass but I have no idea what a "compensator" is in a 1972 heat/AC system. Fuse, switch, resistor and blower motor are about all there is to that system.
Show us the "compensator" that has failed and we'll be able to help you diagnose the problem.
Suggest getting a printed copy of the 1972 Oldsmobile factory Chassis Service Manual if you don't have one. Same book the dealer mechanics used to service and troubleshoot your car.
