Temp gauge meter shunt

A short tech question.

Since meter movement on the rally pack temp gauge is a direct result of current flow through the meter (and shunt between the posts), does anyone have a resistance value for this shunt? I have tried a variety of temp sensors and always get a meter reading of mid range, regardless of engine temp. Gauge always goes to "0" when ignition shut off.

Any insights appreciated.
