Tachometer/Fuel Gauge for 72 Cutlass

What is the cheapest way of getting this done; I'd like the stock gauges but they all cost in the high $400 mark. Is there any matching gauges for a 72 that would fit the mounting bracket in the dash?

I think that will fit, but just know that is not an 70-72 "Olds" tach and I personally think that $195 is a bit steep for a tach that you can buy at an auto parts store for less that will fit just fine.

I have been to this shop in San Jose a few times, they are nice enough guys and they do have some good stuff lying around, but I think for that money, you should get a Sun, install it, and then hold out for a Tic/Toc/Tach when you run into one.

Just my own random brain scatter; Free Advice, you get what you pay for.

Thanks!

The other real problem is the gauge with the engine temperature alerter, fuel level, brake warning, etc, would be very hard to find that one

went to their site,
http://www.sunpro.com/product_detail.php?pid=16472
seems like it would fit right? the gauges I've heard are 4.5" clearance though

No worry about the fuel, that is a separate gauge, as far as the other things like temp, oil, and ammeter, you can get a decent set of aftermarkets and put them under the dash. Still probably will come in under the $200 for the whole thing.
