Tach adjustment?

Tach adjustment?

does any one know if a 1970 Olds's tach can be adjusted where the idle is? its an original rally pack tach! thanks Brian

There is a hole on the back that has a circle piece of tape over it. If you remove the tape there is a screw in the hole and you can adjust it a little with that screw. Just remember that if you get it adjusted correctly on the low side it don't mean it is correct on the high side.

somebody has already punched a hole in the paper, and I think has messed with the tach cause, the tach should idle at 7-800 rpm, this tach idles at 65-7000 rpm!
