Sniper efi

Anyone running sniper? I got the dual syn dist. and was trying to figure out a good coil for it?
I originally had the hei pertronix flamethrower. Now I have the 6415 msd ignition box and wanting to mate it with a good coil. Also, what's a good set of plug wires with the coil plug wire of course, for a 455. Any opinions? Thanks

Considering we will be living the dream of fast starts, not buying racing fuel and good gas mileage I'm ok with being the minority. I've spent more on quadrajet rebuilds and mods than two EFI carbs so even if it's hard to find the exact combo it's still worth it.

Yes no doubt. It will be fun to 'modernize' these engines. I've gotten spoiled with my daily driver, starts up and goes. Needless to say saw the sniper, and had to have it

I’m using the MSD Blaster coil mounted in a stock coil bracket. I’m also using the MSD 6AL ignition box that’s been on the car for about 25 years. Also using MSD plug wires. Everything seems to work well

I have a F.A.S.T. EFI 2.0 with a dual synch dist and the E92 & E6 combo electronic ignition and coil from FAST. I've recently taken it all of to restore the car and have the stuff for sale if you need anything.

Thanks for the offer, but already have the Holley dual sync, msd 6, and coil. Just not hooked up yet. Wish you luck on your sale!

I have the Sniper, and it's great. You may experience a few quirks, however by now there are solutions for all of them. I'm using an MSD pro-billet dist and Blaster coil, with the Sniper controlling timing.

First page of instruction.
This one allows you more adjustability on when the secondaries kick in.
A standard upgrade
Some fixes can be found. These are two choices for fixing drivability.

Sniper

Regardless of what your told you will need an adapter or modify the intake. The butterflies will hit on the small holes if you don't.

If you didn't order a Sniper yet, Holley now makes a spread bore version as a direct replacement for a Q-Jet.
