Is this a retainer?

Hi! I was cleaning up to prep for installing my new points and condenser on my stock 1972 cutlass 350 and the part in the photo snapped off the plate. One of the plastic retaining tabs broke. It still sits in the plate but is a little shaky. Is this called a "retainer"? Where can I get this part? Should I try to crazy glue the tab back?

Goes on the distributor base plate. Fragile little buggers. They hold a piece of felt to wipe the cam with a little grease on it, found on the old points style units.

Thank you. There was no felt in there but my points condenser combo has felt already installed so does that make this part redundant? Can I just take the broken retainer out? Thanks!

Take it out and toss it. The clips underneath usually break off and just
rattle around in the bottom anyway. Nothing a little compressed air can't
take care of.
