Replaced Steering column now not turning over

66 442 w/ Column automatic. My steering column had an issue. I removed it, went through it and put it back together.
After re-installing it, blinkers work, horn works, (so ribbon cable is fine) I put it in neutral and she rolls good...put in park holds tight.
There are two other wire connectors that go to the switch assembly (1993659) and I have the tang inserted into the correct slot on the assembly.
But when I try to start it...I get nothing. All other electrical working fine.
The starter was working great when I put it away in November.
Battery with a jump is at 13+ volts...
HELP!

I would be sure its in park, then jump the wires across from the neutral safety switch to see if it will start. My guess is you have something out of adjustment on the neutral safety switch and if it starts when bypassed that would confirm it.

Yes, check the neutral safety switch, the 2 purple wires at the bottom of the column.
