Rally Pack Jumper

Rally Pack Jumper
Got my IP back from Ron Roth a couple of months ago and What a nice job! he had sent it out to get the gauges checked and was told the oil pressure gauge was inop. The car had suffered from excessive moisture due to the usual rot under the windshield and the circuit board was looking pretty nasty so I got a new one. In replacing it I saw that the feed for the clock was cooked so even more reason to replace it.
I also had to reconnect the clock stem which I found in the trunk. Wasn't paying a lot of attention when I took it apart, but while reassembling it I had the pages from the chassis manual for reference.
Here's the deal:
There is a jumper that goes from the temp gauge to somewhere. the somewhere is because the manual says it goes from the ammeter to the temp gauge. The photo shows it going from the temp gauge to the oil pressure gauge. I had to change the position of the wire to reach the temp gauge and thought that was weird as I had not disconnected it from the temp gauge. Put it all back together and put it in the car and guess what? NONE of them work. I knew the fuel gauge and temp gauges worked before taking it out so which story is correct? Temp to oil or temp to ammeter?
Just thought I'd ask before I rip the whole thing out again.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
