Looking for the part# and amp output. Every Parts Store search I've done shows completely different housings, fans, amps, etc. that are all applicable.

 

if your car has a/c or rear defog, it will have, at least, a 78 amp alternator, if it had either one of those two options and heavy duty alternator option, it will have an 85 amp alternator. it is a 12si type alternator in either case. they made a 94 amp output 12si also, that was for other makes with police option. you can get aftermarket alternators that can deliver crazy stupid outputs, if you want/need to go that route. remember, alternators were rated to delivery only 50% of their cold rated output for a long period of time.
