Put a 200R (modified) tranny into my 57 Olds Super 88. The tranny of course has reverse in the current day position and my OEM nuetral safety switch is configured for the reverse being in the lowest (all the way down) position. I can now start the car in P N & R and have no back up lights. Any ideas? Is their a compatible piece I can use off a Chevy?

 

Doesn't the '58 Olds have 'reverse' beside 'park'?? try that...
