No high speed blower

No high speed blower
Ok the 71 has no high speed blower setting. The other setting work just fine. I haven't dug into it yet as I have been moving and trying to organize a bit. All fuses are good in the fuse block. Could the switch in be bad? The resistor is good as I tested another and have same issue. What is different in the circuit for high but not the other speeds?

Check your high speed AC relay. If it's not the resistor, it's the relay. You have 2 of them; one is low speed and the other is high speed.
On high speed, I believe the relay electrically closes the water valve at the back of the intake to increase cooling function in the cabin.

I'm not sure if your year has it, but look for a small fuse holder near the firewall in the engine comp't. Later years have one. The line supplies an alternate route of power around the resistors for lower fan speed.

Well figured it out last night as I was working on the toys. Problem turned out to be a an excellent replacement of the relay connector that involves twisting wires together and electrical tape! Once repairing it correctly high speed was restored.
