If the module is defective or the weight sensor is broke...or if the weight sensor is working properly and is a false positive effect.
I won’t be home for a few days but will try to get you pics of the correct wiring diagram and literature that oertaims to this system. In the meantime you could back trace from the solenoid and just eliminate that circuit, as GM canceeed it after a year or two. As Kong’s as your solenoid is energizing and the starter is spinning them the only missing pieces are Air-fuel-heat for combustion, meaning gas & Air thru carb & spark.

ok thanks for this information ! so if i need to push this button, my problem is something with the sensor of the seat belt, or wieght wensor ?

ok thanks again for your help coz i have the diagram from 1971 cutlass and there no such sensor on this one.

Correct

Yes. Only needs pushed if sensor thinks it has a load on it without seat belt fastened. You might try just competing the seat belt circuit to also verify that the circuit is operating as intended
I have only seen the option on 74, and I think an early production 75.

I don't mind being corrected at all, thanks for the clarification. None of that shows up on the drawings I was provided and apologize for the assumption. Based on Bretts description then all he would need to do is jumper the purple wires that the device opens up to bypass it and complete the circuit.

This is a good example when the service manual comes in handy for a particular vehicle
