Need power window/seat relay '68 Olds 98

Does anybody know where I can buy this part? See more pictures on my photo album at TopDownRed for pictures. I've seen lots of relays and switches online; none of them look like this one.

Try this guy. Yesteryear antique Auto Parts. Dave Soltow. 941-743-7784. His website is www.yesteryearautoparts.com He took apart and rebuilt my convertible top switch. If he doesn't have a relay, he may be able to repair yours. He a good resource to hang on to. best of luck!

Chris.

Did Dave have it?

He fixed my top switch on my '75 delta for $140. I was thrilled to pay him to fix it. It's not available as a reproduction and they are more scarce than hens teeth and I did not want a universal switch. My feeling is if the part is no longer available and you have to have it, you have to pony up for it (within reason). It kinda blows that you can't go down to the parts store and get stuff for these cars. It also blows that junk yards don't have anything older than 1990 to 1995 cars..........

Glad you found what you were looking for and may that relay help you enjoy many more miles behind the wheel!

Yes, Dave had it: $95 + S/H. We are going on a 3-day cruise in two weeks - meeting up with 200+ convertibles for a tour along the Great River Road near LaCrosse WI. I feel much better knowing that everything is in good working order!
Thanks for your help; Dave is a great resource!

I've heard that junkyards got rid of a lot of old cars when Johnson was President. Ms Ladybird was trying to make the highways "more beautiful"...Also scrap metal prices were very good for awhile...alas.

Smile same part, used; $159 MORE!

I got an offer thru Automotix for a used part at $254. Crazy!
Now I'm really glad I bought a new one from Dave - it is on it's way already too.

I probably have 4-5 of them in the parts cars. Did not see this thread until today.

I'd sell one for way less than $250...
