I recently installed Pertronix ignitor and Falme thrower coil in my 1970 442 W30, after installation I noticed a slight "miss" under cruise conditions, it was not noticable under full throttle acceleration. Suspecting I had a bad coil I swapped the Flamethrower unit for the stock coil, and now the car will not start. I have re-checked the connections several times and even re-installed the Flamethrower unit..nothing. Both coils checked out serviceable on an ohm meter. I have no idea what happened, before I swapped coils the car would at least start. Anyone have any ideas ?
