Mystery Connector

Hi,
Can anyone shed some light on what this 2-prong pink/orange connector is? I was messing with my neutral switch and saw this connector laying unused. Just want to make sure it’s not something pivotal. I attempted to find it in the wiring diagrams but haven’t pinpointed it. Pics attached.

Thanks for any help.
Tom

Sorry, brain fart as that would be good info to know.

’70 Cutlass Supreme with column auto shift.

Based on the electrical manual, I though it could be a provision for the trans downshift switch which I do not have.

That’s the kickdown switch. It’s included in every dash harness.
