lights flickering... on to the next problem...

Hi all! You guys are so much help so I figured I'd ask. But I got a new battery, new voltage regulator and also got the gen rebuilt and my gen light went away finally and she's charging fine now! Anyways on the next or problem.. I test drove it today and noticed my lights were flickering a little and it was making an awful belt squeak noise... other things I noticed is my instrument cluster lights come on when they want to, and don't work sometimes, my gas Gauge doesn't work, and my horn goes on and off also. And what I mean with all that is one time the stuff works while I'm driving and another time it doesn't. It sounds like a gen problem right?.. it's changing fine just would like some input. Thanks in advance!!!!

Intermittent electronics in general is often either a short or a loose connection somewhere. The belt squeak might be unrelated.

EDIT: Now that I think about it I'm convinced the problem is a short, which would explain why the horn comes on by itself. The flickering of the instrument lights would be the power drain caused by said short.
