LED Halo head lites

has any of the members converted their (71) cutlass (or any 5 3/4 ) head lites to LED Halo. I have seen the 'Dapper 575, which seem to be a high price point, or is there an alternative (Octane product). I'm looking for the least cutting & adapting, (plug & go),

Cheers

Those look pretty easy to install, a bit pricey. Are you going to be driving that much at night to justify the cost?

From the research I've done they're all the same. Amazon, ebay, all of them are bright and hook up easy. I went with classic style h4 housings and separate led bulbs for the classic look with updated lighting.

Yes, that's my quandary, the Dapper575 are nice but costly, so I'm hoping a member as sourced an alternative. Your question to nite driving is valid, and probably not that extensive. I'm more concerned with the electrical draw and the heat, so I can justify spend a couple of $100, as apposed to a $1000. I do like the look which to me is a justification factor also...

Cheer..

I currently have these installed: https://www.ebay.com/itm/36296479302...YAAOSwsEpejEEV
At only $100/set they are a great choice if you want a modern look. The pics below show them in my car "in progress" and finished. They perform great, the high/ low/ and halos are all super bright, but I had to cut the original buckets to where there is almost nothing left due to the large heat sinks on the back.

Before those, I had these. https://www.ebay.com/itm/33353119559...sAAOSwoSxeWqKX They are also super bright. The halo can be set to any color and they do not require as much cutting as the ones shown above. At $250 they do cost more. I got rid of them because I wanted a true white halo and the RGB mix just could not doo that.

Before the above lights I was running the ones below (similar to the ones in this add: https://www.ebay.com/itm/30407864510...gAAOSwpfZg-0nZ). The headlights were nice and bright but the halos were not very bright. In the photo below the halos are on (amber color)

I'll have to search international shipping (Yes ebay, Canada is another country lol) or amazon prime etc.. how did you rig the electric's, standard stock dash switch plug in, or DRL (front side one set of rears), a timed relay?, or something etc.. I think they transform the look of the car..

Cheers

As for wiring, for the amber set (last pick) the halos were on a switch under the dash and the head lights just plug in. The other two sets were in after I re-wired the car. They are more complicated but only because I made the halos turn on with the ignition OR with the push of a momentary PBNO switch whether the car is on or off, and the halos automatically turn off if the headlights are turned on.
