ignition wiring harness 72 cutlass, where to find?
i seem to be missing the wire I'd need to connect my electric choke on my edelbrock 1406 carb.the car runs fine without the electric choke but it defeats the purpose of having one if im not going to use it, so can somebody point me in the right direction?

Eric, it's been a while since I've looked at my notes. Does the original oil pressure switch hook to the alternator in the same way? And does it already have the fuse? And the red and blue wires to switch, does it matter which terminals as long as it's the two that are parallel?
Kool, if you're not going to use the oil pressure switch method, I just hijacked your thread. Sorry

No, the fuse is added as is the new pressure switch the only wire that is existing is the green one that goes to the idiot light. You must buy the ps64 pressure switch.
The top diagram does not apply to mechanical gauges. You would need to do the bottom one. The relay is a generic 30a available at your local auto parts store.
BTW these diagrams are compliments of Joe P.

In the future it might be easier to just link to the thread, which has additional text to help describe the diagrams. For example, if you want to run a mechanical oil pressure gauge with the first option, simply use a tee fitting to connect both to the oil port.
