I need a fuel tank sending unit

Anyone know where i can find a fuel tank sending unit for 65 dynamic? Cant seem to find any for the big body olds. Also what body is the dynamic model( A,B )??
I didn't realize it would be so hard to find. I know the 65 tanks the unit is mounted on the front instead of the top. Are there any other vehicles that could cross reference my part?

Thanks

I don't know where you can find one. The group number is 3.107. The part number should be 6426052 with the return line and 6426051 without the return line. Are you sure that yours is defective?
The Dynamic 88 was a "B" body.

Thanks for the info! No return line on mine. 99% sure its bad. Grounded the wire from the tank with key on a gauge works good. Sending unit stuck at 1/4 tank.

Wow, just found a NOS on oldsobsolete but they want $345! Hopefully i can cross reference the number you gave me and find something cheaper.

Lightbulb

There, you have another option. It is probably best to remove the sender from the tank before condemning it completely. Flooded. partially flooded floats, and stuck arms have also been known to cause erroneous readings.

Have you removed it? Checked the ground from sender to body?
Mine was missing the ground strap in the sender from the winding to the sender body.(Inside the tank on the sender)

Thanks again for the link radioburningchrome! Picked it up for $7. Just installed it and I finally have a working fuel gauge again.
