Horn relay 69 Cutlass S 350

Hi All,
Doing some rerouting of wiring along the driver side wheel well. Would like to move the horn relay/key buzzer to a non-metallic surface. Looking at fig 12-1 in the 69 Chassis Service Manual it does not appear that this item needs metal grounding but I would others with more electrical knowledge than myself to review this.
Thanks in advance.....Bob

I believe you are correct, if not you can always run a ground wire to one of the mounting screws.

I don't think it needs a ground. The horn button provides the ground to the horn relay coil, same thing for the annoying key in the ignition buzzer.
