High beams and left blinker not working
Just moved dash and all wires out of a 100% working (electrics, that is) '71 Cutty to a '72 Cutty. Everything works except the high beams and the left side turn indicator. I've made sure the wires are solid, and I've tried exchanging bulbs - no problem there. Moved the high-beam wires to the other set of headlights, resulting in them working, but I can only ever get one set of headlights to work, namely the set with the high-beam wires on them.
Question: do the brights work on a different ground connection than the low beams? The horn works as well, so I assume that my front clip is properly grounded. The right indicator and both front bumper lights work.
Furthermore, I have a male dual-connector with an orange and a pink wire dangling from under the steering column, but nothing in sight to plug it up to. The '72 dash I have has the same plug, also unplugged, so no help to be had from that.

It works, except that the left blinker is on all the time like the front bumper blinker, while the right one only blinks when the blinker arm is actuated. Someone was creative with this wiring.

Blinkers have nothing to do with headlights.
Check both front and rear bulbs for correct insertion and grounds.
I once had a problem with sand, [from sandblasting] in a socket with that 'grease' in it! Once clean - worked perfect!
