Help Please! Blower for A/C quit working

My fan/blower for my A/C quit working on Saturday....I have checked the fuses under the dash and all appear to be OK. Where/what do I check next?

Thanks,

Tom

It is a 1967 Toronado Deluxe. It does not have the fancy heating and cooling controls. It has the "standard" heating and cooling controls.

Unplug the purple power wire from the blower motor and run a heavy gauge jumper wire from battery (+) to the blower motor post. If fan runs it is either the control head switch or resistor. If not the blower motor is shot.

If it will run in lower speeds but not high, there is a high blower speed relay underhood that also has a 30A inline fuse. Either the relay or fuse could have failed.

You say it is not a Comfortron car so that rules out the C-tron master vacuum switch underhood.

Does it quit working at all speeds or just at a certain speed?

Did you just make a visual inspection on the fuses? Try to measure with a Ohmmeter, sometimes it is hard to see if they are broken!

I just had the same problem a couple of weeks ago in my 66 Starfire. I replaced the resistor and blower motor. Now it works better than ever.
